Interview with Nadine Lajoie

Nadine LajoieCarèle:
Is your company present on some Social Networks?
Nadine:
Yes

Carèle: On which ones?
Nadine:
I am on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, You Tube.

Carèle: What is your favorite Social Network?
Nadine: Facebook.

Carèle: Why?
Nadine: Because it’s easy, fast and I can quickly and easily post updates a couple of times a day.

Carèle: What is your vision about your social network presence in 5 years from now?
Nadine:  I think that in five years social media will be even more in demand; however, it’s really time consuming to reach people on social media and the competition is just getting more noisy and more sophisticated. If you don’t hire a social media expert, even these days, to get yourself on top of the list in your market, has become quite difficult and I think it will just continue to grow.

Carèle: What is the word success means to you?
Nadine: For me, the definition of success is doing whatever you want to do when you want without being worried about money. For me doing what I love and making enough money to give me the freedom, but at the same time helping people is a definition of success. For some people it’s $20,000 a year, that brings ultimate satisfaction and for some people $2 million would not be enough.

My definition of success evolves each year or every five or ten years, but the freedom is the most important part of success.

Carèle: What is the name of your business?
Nadine: Nadine Racing

Carèle: Can you describe in which industry your business is with the services and products you offer?
Nadine: I am an international speaker and a champion motorcycle racer helping people to win the race of life. I’m coaching people in business, personal, professional and spiritual realms to help them recognize their dreams, get outside of their comfort zone, overcome their fears, reach a high level of performance and great success at the fastest speed possible.

The services and products that I offer are all related to fun and passion and where education meets entertainment. I have developed breakthrough trainings at the race track, programs on cruises and also a one-woman show with entertainment; a combination between a concert and a presentation, so everything is based on inspiration, education and entertainment.

I have published three books, including two #1 Best-Sellers: “Win the Race of Life with Balance and Passion, at 180 MPH” (4 times Award Finalist in USA and London), and as a co-author with Les Brown, “Fight for Your Dreams, the Power of Never Giving-Up”.  The third book is for motorcycle enthusiasts as a contributor with Joyce Pelligrini in “Motorcycle Diaries A-Z”.

I also have different trainings and coaching programs, for groups and individuals, priced from $47 to $10,000. I have personally coached over 800 clients in my life and spoke to thousands of entrepreneurs alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Les Brown, Ali Brown, Michael B. Beckwith and many more, helping and inspiring audiences to move forward and accelerate success.

Carele: Why did you decide to start this kind of business?
Nadine: I decided to start my speaking business in 2007, when I discovered my mission was to inspire people around the world with my speaking, racing and singing, teaching life and business lessons.  My story is unique in the speaking industry as I utilize the metaphor of motorcycle racing in my teachings.

At the same time, as I experienced severe episodes of depression and in 1995 wanted to commit suicide, I always encourage people to overcome their challenges and never give-up. From my personal experiences,  I encourage and “IN-Power” people to continue to live, from darkness to the wonderful life that they deserve and To Win the Race of Life.
